TERMS & CONDITIONS
By making any payment to Playhouse the client agrees to the following:
Regarding Suppliers
- Playhouse does not directly employ suppliers nor establishes employment relationships with them; such relationships are exclusively between the Client and the Supplier. The role of Playhouse is that of a representative/consultant for the Client, acting as a mediator between both parties.
- Playhouse bears no liability for missed deliveries or deadlines by Suppliers.
- Playhouse will not hold Suppliers accountable for original, editable file handover.
- Processes such as Packaging and Web Design demand ALL the necessary assets prior to starting.
- If the client takes more than twenty (20) calendar days to give feedback or request changes on a deliverable, Playhouse will have to revisit and adjust the budget accordingly.
Regarding payments
- Playhouse is not responsible for paying any Supplier unless otherwise agreed.
- If agreed, Playhouse can manage the payment distribution to Suppliers. In this case, the Client must transfer the total fees owed to Suppliers upon starting the project, including any transaction costs, to the Playhouse account.
- Monthly retainer payments are due within the first 5 working days of each month.
- Unexpected costs such as font licenses, illustrations, web hosting prices, domain prices, external hired talent, are not included in our fees.
- (If applicable) The “Research Step” is capped at one month; any delays or extensions beyond this period caused by the Client will incur a charge of £250 per week.
- If funds are sent to the wrong bank address, the Client must respond for the damages.
- Playhouse doesn’t issue refunds.
- In order to begin the project Playhouse requires a 50% deposit and the other 50% must be paid prior to releasing all the final deliverables / publishing any works.
Regarding damages
- Any damages caused throughout the process will be covered by the client.
- Playhouse does not respond for any damages caused by delays in the process.
- Playhouse is not liable for damages caused by the failure of one of the deliverables. For example, website failure, etc.
- If the client decides to change the scope of the project after kick off and work has been created, Playhouse will have to re-evaluate the budget and will not issue refunds to previously made payments.
- Playhouse reserves the right to terminate the project immediately -at any stage- if there is any disrespect or offensive behavior towards any team member or Suppliers.
Regarding intellectual property
- All Suppliers adhere to broadly consistent intellectual property policies. However, our capacity to assist with specific concerns is limited. Client is encouraged to clearly articulate their intellectual property needs and requirements prior to starting, considering it can impact the budget greatly.
- Playhouse reserves the right to feature representations of the project and its assets in a public portfolio.
- The works do not belong to the client until all payments have been fulfilled. In the case of failure to complete them, if relevant, Playhouse reserves the right to publish and share the works created.
